Management Training Videos

A series of highly successful training videos has been produced by staff and students of the Department. The CounterAction series deal with customer relation in libraries through a number of case studies in which poor staff attitudes and behaviour are contrasted with more satisfactory performances. Assertiveness is concerned with effective interaction with library users and the latest productions deal with staff appraisal, development and motivation.

Accompanying notes are also available to highlight the main teaching points for each dramatised section. Other productions are planned for the future and will be advertised within this section on publication.
